Whether you're just getting started or you've been playing for a while, this tournament is all about having fun, meeting fellow chess lovers, and seeing how far your strategy can take you.

Here’s everything you need to know:

🏅 Prizes:

• 1st Place: 25,000 HUF
• 2nd Place: 15,000 HUF
• 3rd Place: KnightFall Gift Pack 🎁

📆 Date & Schedule:

• Date: Sunday, 16th November
• On-site registration: 11:00 – 11:20 AM
• Start of first round: 11:30 AM sharp!

♟️ Tournament Format:

• 7-round Swiss system
• Rapid Time Control – 10 minutes, no increment

📐 Tie-breaks: Buchholz, Progressive, Sonneborn–Berger

🔍 Eligibility:

• Max FIDE rating: 1900 (Chess.com or Lichess ratings will not be considered)
• Only open to players aged 18+
• If you're not listed on the FIDE rating list, no worries – you're still welcome to join!

🎯 Participant cap:

• Only 60 spots available – this tournament could fill up fast, so don’t wait! Make sure to grab your ticket and lock in your spot early!

💸 Entry Fee:

• Online: 5500 HUF
• On-site registration: 6000 HUF (only if spots are available)
